National Association of Teachers of Singing, San Diego Chapter (NATS)
I have served on the Board of Directors as Secretary since 2010. The San Diego Chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) is an organization serving members of NATS who reside in San Diego County and surrounding counties.

American Synesthesia Association
Part of my dissertation research included a look into my experience with synesthesia, or experiencing more than one sense at one time. In my case, I visualize colors when I hear music. The American Synesthesia Association, Inc., a not-for-profit organization, was created in 1995 by Carol Steen and Patricia Lynne Duffy to provide information to synesthetes and to further research into the area of synesthesia.
